MARCH 4 - MAY 28

The Fleet Feet Distance Training Group emphasizes fun and fundamentals as we train for spring/summer events on the racing calendar. Our training plan focus will be on the Coeur d'Alene Half Marathon on May 28, and the training is easily adaptable to other race dates and distances including other half marathons, marathon and triathlon prep.

Distance Training Group meets March 7 to May 28 on Tue/Thu at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. We focus on the basics of consistency, good technique, injury prevention, varied workouts and positive attitude to make good things happen. Our workouts include distance runs, hills, tempo workouts and a little speed.

Cool class stuff includes coached workouts, detailed training plans, gear discounts, clinics and a team T-shirt.
